To truly define and differentiate fiction and nonfiction, the two categories must be looked at a little closer. Let us hear the other end of the conversation, without actually hearing it. Paint a picture with your word usage and you will find your work to be real page turners. Print a copy of your story in the standard manuscript format. Imagine your conscious mind is tuned in to a radio station run by a single disc jockey, your Inner Critic, and you have no way to turn down the volume much less turn it off.
